Welcome back to Carbon Calling.
The main conference is Saturday the 9th of September and will run from 9.30 am until 5.00 pm, with a farm walk starting at 5.30 pm with Jaime. Tea & coffee and lunch (from Janet at Langwathby Station Cafe) is provided as part of the ticket price. Technical workshops are being held on Sunday the 10th of September.

Jaime Elizondo of Real Wealth Ranching (https://www.rwranching.com/) is the headliner. He is speaking during the day on the Saturday and also leading a farm walk on the Saturday evening around Tim’s farm. He is also available for one-to-one sessions on Saturday. He is running a workshop on the Sunday for four hours, which will go into more detail on how to apply his approach in the UK.
Michael Blanche of The Pasture Pod is confirmed and he will tackling his biggest challenge yet – talking to four women - Nikki Yoxall (head of research at Pasture For Life and regenerative farmer), Claire Whittle (regenerative consultant and vet), Sarah Langford (author, lawyer and farmer) and Amy Hughes (podcaster and AHDB engagement lead for beef and lamb). .
Other speakers include Matt Swarbrick from Henbant Permaculture. Bruce Thompson, a dairy farmer from Ireland who loves dung beetles and Stuart Johnson, a mixed farmer from Northumberland who has embraced biological farming.
Bruce will feature on our next ReGenAg chat on the 21st of August at 7.30 pm.
The team from Broom House Farm Shop, which is currently the small farm shop and farm shop butchery of the year will talk about how they are connecting consumers with farming. Sally and Andrew Hatton from Nidderdale will discuss how they have transformed their farm through cheese making. Sara Grady will talk us through the vision for leather from pasture-based systems.
On Sunday the 10th, there is Jaime’s workshop running for 8 am until 12 noon (as he has to get a flight), and Ian Bell will be running a workshop focussing on soil biology and compost from 10 am until 4 pm . New for this year is Anna de la Vega who is running a workshop (10 am until 4 pm) on vermicomposting and how worms can save the world.
Wild camping (toilets and a shower are available) tickets are available for Friday and Saturday nights.
