Cards for Bravery Festive Party

Join us for our Cards for Bravery Festive Party on Saturday 5th December, a free festive afternoon for children, young people and families affected by serious and/or chronic illness, aged 21 and under.

 Our Festive Party is a chance to have a day away from some of the stress of illness, have some festive fun, and spend time with other children, young people and families who share similar experiences.

There’ll be lots going on throughout the afternoon, including entertainment, craft activities, food and treats, music, a dedicated parent/carer zone, and a teenage zone. There’ll also be a chance to visit Santa’s Grotto, with a gift for every child and parent to take home.

Tickets are completely free and can include:

• The child or young person affected by serious and/or chronic illness, aged 21 and under
• Their siblings
• Up to two parents/carers

If your family doesn’t quite fit within this criteria for any reason, please get in touch with us, we would be happy to help and see what we can do.

When: Saturday 5th December 2026, 1:30pm - 3:30pm
Where: Bishop’s Park Community Centre, Bishop’s Stortford
Parking: Parking is available on site

Accessibility: The venue is wheelchair accessible and has accessible toilets. We’ll also have a quiet/sensory space available for anyone who needs a break from the noise and activity.

We want everyone to be able to join us, so if travel costs would make it difficult for your family to attend, we may be able to help support the costs of travel. Please contact us if you need this support.

Please book your place by Sunday 22nd November. We’ll ask for any dietary requirements and other information we need when you book.
