Film Showcase and Report Launch

Join Carers Leeds for a special event as we screen three powerful short films sharing the real stories of unpaid carers in Leeds.

Created in partnership with unpaid carers, these films share powerful personal stories that reveal the realities of unpaid caring in Leeds, exploring the challenges, resilience and experiences of carers across the city.

Alongside the films, we'll also be presenting the findings from our latest report, The State of Unpaid Caring in Leeds, based on the experiences of almost 500 unpaid carers. The report highlights the growing pressures carers face and explores what organisations across Leeds can do to better recognise, value and support unpaid carers.

This event is an opportunity for employers, health and social care partners, voluntary and community organisations, local authority colleagues, elected members and other stakeholders to hear directly from carers, reflect on the findings, and discuss how we can work together to improve support for unpaid carers across Leeds.

Following the film showcase and report launch, there will be time for questions with our staff, networking and conversation over refreshments.
