Celebrate 30 Years of Carers Leeds with Us!
Join us for a special afternoon of celebration as Carers Leeds marks 30 years of supporting unpaid carers across Leeds.
For three decades, we've been proud to stand alongside unpaid carers, providing information, advice, emotional support and opportunities to connect. Now we'd love you to help us celebrate this incredible milestone with an afternoon of entertainment, food and celebration.

Time: 1:00pm–4:00pm
Venue: Leeds Civic Hall, LS1 1UR
Enjoy a fun-filled afternoon featuring:
- A delicious buffet lunch accompanied by live piano music
- Frankie Heart performing an uplifting mix of 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s Motown, soul and party classics
- A special performance from Reggie's Reggae Choir
- A raffle with fantastic prizes
- Time to relax, celebrate and connect with fellow carers
We're also delighted to welcome the Lord Mayor of Leeds, who will be joining us for the first hour of the event.
Whether you've been part of the Carers Leeds community for many years or have only recently found us, we'd love to celebrate this special anniversary with you. This event is our way of thanking the thousands of unpaid carers whose dedication, compassion and resilience make such a difference every day.
Ticket information
£6 per person
Please note:
- Tickets can be refunded up to 72 hours before the event but are non-transferable.
- This event is for unpaid carers aged 16 and over.
- The event is for carers living within Leeds City Council area or where the cared for lives within the Leeds City Council area
- The person you care for is very welcome to attend but must also be aged 16 or over and will remain your responsibility throughout the event.
- Children under the age of 16 cannot attend this event.
- Places are limited, so please book early to avoid disappointment.

- Do I need to be registered with Carers Leeds to attend?
No you do not need to be registered with Carers Leeds to attend. However we may add this as a tick box to the arrival register on the day.
- Accessibility:
There is disabled access via the Portland crescent side entrance. There is a drop off point here too. See 'Getting there and parking' for accessible parking information.
Wheelchair accessible toilet facilities are available inside the building.

- Getting there and parking:
We cannot provide transport to this event under any circumstances.
Leeds Civic Hall is on Calverley Street just past the junction with Great George Street. There is no parking at the Civic Hall, although there is a dropping-off area to the side of the Civic Hall on Portland Crescent.
The nearest car parks are:
- Rosebowl, Portland Crescent (LS1 3HB)
- Citipark Merrion Centre, Merrion Way (LS2 8BT)
- Woodhouse Lane Car Park (LS2 3AX).
Accessible Parking:
Nearby on street designated Blue Badge parking (4-hour time limit, no return within 1 hour) is available on:
- Rossington Street
- Alexander Street
- Calverley Street
- St Anne’s Street
- Cookridge street
- Woodhouse Lane multi-storey car park also provides non-time limited designated accessible parking on Levels 1 and 7 which is free for blue badge holders.
- Dogs:
No animals (with the exception of assistance dogs) are permitted within the ceremony rooms.
- Alcohol:
No alcohol is permitted and anyone intoxicated will be asked to leave.
- Dietary Needs:
Please state dietary needs on the checkout form.
Allergen Statement from the caterer: 'We produce our food fresh daily in kitchens where allergens are handled by our staff and where utensils and equipment are used for multiple menu items, including those containing allergens. Menu items are produced with the utmost care and attention, however, we cannot guarantee it will be allergen free even after ingredients have been removed from our recipes. Some of our food is prepared using ingredients that have been sourced from environments where nuts have been processed.
If you have a food allergy, it is important that you speak to a member of our hospitality team regarding the ingredients we have used. We can provide a full list of allergens on request.'
