Walks with Purpose - Festive Macknade 🎄

Walks with Purpose: Festive Macknade 🎄

Join us for a festive edition of Walks with Purpose, hosted in partnership with award-winning Kent food and drink business, Macknade.
We'll begin with a behind-the-scenes tour of Macknade with CEO Stefano Cuomo, before heading out for a walk through the local countryside and returning for a tasting of Macknade's freshly roasted coffee.
It's an opportunity to connect with others, learn more about Macknade, the B Corp™ movement and better business practices, while sharing ideas and experiences around sustainability and positive impact.

Places are limited to 18 guests, so early booking is recommended. If you book a place and later find you can't attend, please let us know so we can offer it to someone on the waiting list.

This event is free, but a small donation is welcome. Donations help cover the cost of running our events and planting a tree for every Walks with Purpose participant.

What to expect

This event is designed to be informative, informal and conversational.
You'll have an opportunity to:

• Hear from Stefano about Macknade's story, values and approach to business
• Learn more about B Corp certification and sustainable business practices
• Meet and connect with others interested in sustainability and responsible business
• Share questions, experiences and ideas
• Step away from your usual working environment and create some space to think

Who is it for?

Everyone is welcome, whether you're already part of the B Corp community or simply interested in doing business differently.
This event may be particularly useful for business owners and leaders, people working in sustainability or impact, charities, CICs, social enterprises and anyone interested in B Corp certification or responsible business.

The walk

We'll meet at Macknade, Faversham, before heading off to explore local footpaths through the surrounding countryside.
The walk will involve some uneven surfaces, slopes and steps - and it may be muddy too! A reasonable level of mobility and fitness will be required.
The walk will go ahead in most weather conditions, so please come prepared. We'll contact you if severe weather means we need to change our plans. We'll finish back at Macknade, where the conversation and networking will continue over a coffee tasting.

And, with Christmas just around the corner, why not allow a little extra time to browse Macknade's fantastic selection of local and Italian produce and stock up on some festive treats!
