Walks with Purpose - Shapes, Pigs, Cake, B Corp & the outdoors

Walks with Purpose: Shapes, Pigs, Cake, B Corp & the outdoors

Join us for an Autumn edition of Walks with Purpose, hosted in partnership with Shapes, an accountancy & marketing agency based in Bridge, Kent.

We'll begin by heading out for a walk through the local countryside to The Pig at Bridge - A B Corp™ certified hotel set in a characterful 17th century country house. We'll enjoy coffee and cakes before a tour of the walled kitchen gardens.

Then it's back to Shapes with the option to stay and work for the rest of the day.

It's an opportunity to connect with others, learn more about Shapes and their values-driven approach to business, explore the B Corp™ movement, share ideas and allow nature to inspire your creativity!

Places are limited to 15 guests, so early booking is recommended. If you book a place and later find you can't attend, please let us know so we can offer it to someone on the waiting list.

This event is free, but a small donation is welcome. Donations help cover the cost of running our events and planting a tree for every Walks with Purpose participant.

What to expect

This event is designed to be informal and conversational.
You'll have an opportunity to:

• Hear from Steve about Shapes, their values and approach to business
• Learn more about B Corps and sustainable business practices
• Connect with others and spend time in nature
• Share questions, experiences and ideas
• Step away from your usual working environment and create some space to think

Who is it for?

Everyone is welcome, whether you're part of the B Corp community, a purpose-led business or simply interested in doing business differently.
This event may be particularly useful for business owners and leaders, charities, CICs, social enterprises and anyone interested in B Corp certification or responsible business.

The walk

We'll meet at Shapes, Bridge, before heading off to explore local footpaths through the surrounding countryside.
The walk will involve some uneven surfaces, slopes and steps - and it may be muddy too! A reasonable level of mobility and fitness will be required.
The walk will go ahead in most weather conditions, so please come prepared. We'll contact you if severe weather means we need to change our plans. We'll finish back at Shapes, where, following the event, you're welcome to stay and use the space to work.
