Sports First Aid - 1/2 Day Course - August 10th

This certificate in Sports First Aid is suitable for coaches, instructors, teachers, supervisors, sports assistants, volunteers and all involved in sport

Course Syllabus:

• Accidents: scene safety and casualty assessments
• CPR and Rescue Breathing techniques
• Use of a Defibrillator
• Strains, Sprains, Dislocations and the R.I.C.E principle
• Fractures: upper body and lower body
• Bleeding: the dangers and treatments
• Dealing with concussion and unconsciousness
• Asthma, Diabetes and Epilepsy
• Spinal Injuries.
