We are running an Online Safeguarding 1 Training Course on Tue 17 Sept 2024 The course will be run on ‘Zoom’ an interactive video conferencing platform.

Participants will need a tablet/laptop & a good internet connection. The ‘Zoom’ access link for the course and relevant course materials will be emailed to participants in advance in word and PDF formats. To gain accreditation, participants must complete the full course.

A must for anyone working with children.

Online Safeguarding 1 Training Courses

All Coaches, Club Children’s Officers and Designated Liaison Persons must first complete the 3 hour, Safeguarding 1 - Child Welfare & Protection Basic Awareness Course. This course educates participants on the implementation of best practice in protecting the welfare of children involved in sport. Must be over 18 years old to complete course.

Sport Ireland have recently launched a new digital database which requires us to ask for your date of birth and gender.
There are limitations that you can only enter male or female. We apologise for any frustration this may cause. Unfortunately, at present, we cannot change this as it is coded into the system. 

The Zoom link for the course will be sent out to you on the morning of the event. Please check your Spam folder as emails containing links tend to be re-directed straight to Spam.

PLEASE NOTE: Refund cannot be issued if ticket is cancelled less than 24Hrs before the course.
