Women's Hike - Co. Wicklow

Join us for our Christmas Women’s Hike on Saturday, 6th December at 9.30am. We will meet at 9.00am at Glenmulure Lodge, Glenmalure, County Wicklow A67WF65. We will then drive up to Glenmalure Valley to the start the hike, which is only a few minutes drive. This hike is perfect for women looking to enjoy the great outdoors and take on a challenge in a supportive and friendly environment. We might even decorate our own Christmas tree while we are up there and sing a few Christmas songs!

Note: We will go to Glenmulure lodge for some light refreshments after our hike. We plan to be down for 2pm and enjoy a chat over some light refreshments.

This is a moderate hike with a slightly difficult section.

• Price: €10.00+ booking fee
• Start Time: 9.30am (meet at 9.00am)
• Duration: 4 - 4.5hrs
• Hiking Boots necessary (runners are not suitable for this hike)

What gear do I need:

• Wear comfortable clothing like - leggings, tracksuit bottoms, breathable T-Shirt and
  fleece & an extra warm layer.
• Be ready for the rain and pack a rain jacket and rain
  trousers.
• A hat and gloves to keep you safe from the wind even in Summer.
• Wear good sturdy walking shoes or hillwalking boots with woolly or synthetic socks.
• Have a backpack with water, sandwiches and snacks, coffee, tea or else.
• Don’t forget to bring first aid kit with plaster and bandages, personal medicine,
  inhaler, EpiPen etc.
