Learn the Following Ghosts approach, and find out how far a dog can go when the training method lines up with the dog's natural use of his nose. The Following Ghosts approach to tracking zeroes on in helping you become your dog's best partner, and helping your dog understand the tracking game. 

This workshop is suitable for beginner dogs as well as more advanced dogs needing troubleshooting or new skills.

It is just amazing to watch a beginner dog work variable surfaces with ease! By the end of a 2 day workshop, most dogs complete the 2 day workshop doing multiple legs, varied surface and some aging on tracks -- and that includes the beginner dogs! If you are interested in learning to track, or want to help a dog who is already started, join us!

Both working dog teams and auditors are active throughout the workshop. Learn track laying, equipment choices, lead handling, scent theory and aging. You also will learn observation skills critical to successful tracking, and how to tailor the tracking education to the aptitude of the individual dog.
