Thistle Tones

Though all four members of The Thistle Tones hold graduate degrees in jazz, their sound blends the genres that made them love music: rock, pop, soul, and blues. They’ve spent years playing across the Front Range, refining their sound while covering artists like Bill Withers, Jimi Hendrix, and Carole King. Now, they’re preparing to record their first album - and you’ll be the first to hear it, live! In their original music and arrangements, you’ll hear spacey vamps, soulful vocals, and improvised solos. While this music isn’t really “jazz”, you’ll be able to hear that influence.
