Cassiobury Farm Open Day & Giant Easter Egg Hunt

Our famous giant Easter Egg Hunt is back again . . . and bigger and better than ever.

Hidden throughout the site are giant golden Easter eggs and popular Easter themed characters.  Follow your treasure map to find them all, and it will take you to our brand new Easter chocolate cave, stacked full of sweet Easter treats.  The Great Easter Egg Hunt is especially designed for children of 12 years and under but all are welcome to take part.  A separate Easter Egg Hunters ticket needs to be purchased to take part in the hunt.

Visit our 70-species rare breed farm and exotic animal collection on site.  Our rare breeds farm includes Hungarian Steppe Cows, Soay Sheep, Gloucester Old Spot Pigs, Pygmy Goats, Trekking Llamas & Alpacas, Reindeer, Miniature Horses & Donkeys, Turkeys, Pheasants and so much more Our conservation exotic collection includes Lowland Tapir, Dingo's, Zebra, Ostrich, Madagascan Fossa, Galapagos Tortoise, Lemurs, Tamarin Monkeys, Binturong, Flamingos, Meerkats, Marmosets, Red Kangaroos & Wallabys, Crested Cranes, Pelicans, Macaws, Raccoon Dogs, Civets, Genets, Squirrel Monkeys and many more . . .

Visit our Farm Shop full of produce from local artisan providers. Fresh watercress bread, local honey, homemade cookies and preserves, olives, pate's, cakes and drinks.

Browse the stalls and activities at the Unapologetically You wellness centre situated looking out across Carpdell Lake.

Lots of fun for the kids . . . Triassic dinosaur trail, bouncy castle, face painting, fishing, crazy golf, mini-tractor rides and pedalos. Come and enjoy lunch on the meadow or from one of our various food stations around the site.

Please note that Open Days take place regardless of the weather, and that tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable unless by prior agreement.  Dogs are not allowed, other than guide dogs.

FISHING COACHING TASTER SESSION
Watford Angling Coaches are delighted to offer 30 minute angling taster sessions for visitors to the Cassiobury Farm and Fishery Open Days. Our qualified Angling Coaches will provide 30 minute taster sessions working with a maximum of 2 students per coach for each 30 minute session. Taster sessions are ideally suited for those aged 5 years and above.

Booking slots operate from 10:30 until 16:30 and you will be notified in advance of the booking time allocated for you.

Please arrive at the angling reception desk at least 10 minutes ahead of your booking time so that your registration form and angling licence waivers can be completed prior to your session commencing.

Session times are fixed and must end at the time allocated; we are unable to provide refunds for non or late attendance.
