Rockbourne Roman Villa Family activity days
Join Castle Hill Heritage Skills CIC expert tutors for a family activity session at Rockbourne Roman Villa, SP6 3PG Hampshire.
Over a run of Fridays in late July and August our heritage tutors will explore:

Stone Age to Iron Age: Wood, Stone, Bone & Beast
Friday 7th August
Romans: Rebels, Revels & Riches
Friday 14th August
Saxons and Vikings: The Adventures of Beowulf
Friday 21st August
Stone Age to Iron Age: Wood, Stone, Bone & Beast
Friday 28th August
Romans: Rebels, Revels & Riches
The activities will be accurate to the time period of the session and a mixture of:
- Weaving
- Wattle & Daub
- Natural paints Cordage
- Historic Games
- Metal Embossing
- Clay beads
- Storytelling and more!
There will be some objects made by yourself during the day that you get to take home with you and admire your historic creation!
10.30am to 1.30pm. Child £15; accompanying Adult £5
These are family-orientated activity days so we whole-heartedly encourage all generations to get involved!
All children must be accompanied and supervised by a paying adult. Activities will include clay and water and hands-on crafting so please come in appropriate clothing.
Park at Rockbourne Roman Villa car park and go to reception to give your ticket and sign in.
The Villa site will close shortly after the family session has finished.
