The Catalyst: Community Finance Initiative aims to enhance the ecosystem to support the start-up and scale up of place-based community finance organizations in urban, rural, and Northern communities across Canada.

We do this in three ways as a network:

1. Convene the community finance ecosystem to facilitate knowledge sharing among place-based finance organizations, funders, investors, and capacity builders.
2. Programs to develop community finance organizations and equipping leaders with knowledge, peer connections, mentors, tools, templates, and shared services.
3. Advocate to advance community finance with relevant and appropriate public policy infrastructure.
