Scottish Vineyard Gathering 2025

Authentic lives, authentic power

"Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us" Ephesians 3:20


The challenge is big. We can’t do this in our own strength.

We need to encounter the glory of God, to come face to face with his presence and his power. Because when we do he transforms us, and then everything around us begins to change.

We don’t need to pretend to be someone we’re not, and there's no need for hype. God is longing to meet with each of us, to come into the messy and the mundane, to bring new life, to whisper new dreams. In authenticity and truth.

We’d love you to join us at Scottish Vineyard Gathering, where we'll worship Jesus, engage with his words, and receive his empowering presence. Everyone is welcome!

This will be a particularly special moment for the Scottish Tribe gathering as John + Debby Wright will be commissioning Thomas + Mhairi Urquhart ,who will take over from Chuck + Taryn Freeland, as the new Vineyard regional leaders for Scotland! We'd absolutely love to see you there!

GATHERING TOGETHER

This is an opportunity to gather with our Vineyard tribe from around the nation. It will be a gathering place for dreamers and kingdom schemers, for those who know without question what they’re for, and those in search of a purpose. This is about making space for God to speak.

Who should come?

People currently carrying leadership responsibility within their work or church life.

Those sensing God’s call to any form of leadership in any area of life

Anyone else who would like to come

We welcome Christians from all church streams and denominations

Eric & Julia Pickerill

Eric & Julia serve together in senior leadership, bringing decades of experience in pastoral leadership, spiritual formation, and teaching. They've been married for over 30 years and have three adult children.

In the early years of their marriage, they worked with students through Young Life and later, in a young adult ministry called Joshua House. In 2008 they moved internationally to plant and co-pastor Vineyard Amsterdam (Netherlands) before moving back to Columbus in 2015. In January 2021, they stepped into their current roles as Senior Pastors at Vineyard Columbus.

Eric holds a master’s degree in theology from the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam and has pastored for over 25 years. With a background in the arts, a love for cross country motorcycle trips, and a passion for adventure, he brings both a creative and grounded approach to leadership.

Julia is a trained Spiritual Director who has traveled internationally over the years to teach at conferences but who primarily loves quiet spaces, puzzles, and a good zombie movie. She finds joy in walking alongside folks of all ages in their spiritual journey.

Together, they are committed to thoughtful, faithful leadership, and helping others grow in their calling and relationship with God.

John & Debby Wright

As the simply brilliant National Directors of our movement, they lead our tribe and serve our people so well. Trained under John Wimber, they helped to start the first Vineyard church in Europe and they have been serving together in pastoral ministry for more than 30 years. We’re absolutely delighted that they’re going to be with us.

Chuck & Taryn Freeland

Chuck and Taryn are the Lead Pastors of Catalyst Vineyard church, which is a multi-site church meeting in 8 locations across the North East of Scotland (including an online community). They are the Regional Leaders for the Vineyard in Scotland and, if truth be told, not what you would call sporty.

THE PROGRAMME

We’ll have main meetings in the mornings and evenings – great times of worship, teaching and ministry. In the afternoons there’ll be seminars as well as plenty of time to connect with old friends and to make new ones. The timings are still being worked on but the following is based on 2024.

CHILDREN

There will be no school-aged kids programmes because the conference takes place during school term-time. We’re hoping that many of us will be able to arrange for family or friends to look after our children at home, so we can focus on receiving from the Lord. 

There is a large room with a media link available for parents of babies and toddlers up to 5 years old.

"PAY IT FORWARD" TICKETS

If you wish, you can also contribute towards a ticket for someone who might not be able to afford to come. Buying these tickets essentially acts like a donation into a pot, and we will allocate the tickets out as we see fit. Please don't panic when it asks for your details and also sends you a ticket afterwards,  this is just the nature of having an online booking system -  rest assured we are thankful for your generosity and we will make sure someone else gets a ticket. You do not need to do anything once the payment has been processed.

There are a variety of hotels, within a short drive or bus-ride. The main clusters of hotels are either in the city centre, or beside the airport.

Cancellation Policy:

All cancellations and amendments must be confirmed in writing to svg@catalyst.vin, and you will receive a written acknowledgement. Fees for cancellations/changes are calculated as below and are based on the total value of the booking.

An admin fee of £25.00 will apply to all cancellations. Cancellations made before Friday 12th September 2025 will receive a refund of the ticket price, minus £25.00 admin fee. Cancellations made after Friday 12th September 2025 cannot be refunded.

In the event of the conference being cancelled, you will be entitled to a full refund (no admin fee).
