Rejoice & Tremble

‘Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.’ Psalm 2:11

event_description_image_13517_1770303491_65167.png?_a=BAAE6HDQ

The Fear of the Lord is to convey the sense of awe, wonder and delight in loving your beloved so much that you would never want to hurt him. What would it look like if we lived wholeheartedly from that place? What would change if faith and obedience would be our only native air?

It’s our heart as a tribe we would gather to both rejoice and tremble in his presence, bringing our whole lives to him afresh and doing whatever he invites of us. For the sake of our wonderful land Scotland.

Come, now is the time to worship...

____________

GATHERING TOGETHER

This is an opportunity to gather with our Vineyard tribe from around the nation. It will be a gathering place for dreamers and kingdom schemers, for those who know without question what they’re for, and those in search of a purpose. This is about making space for God to speak.

Who should come?

People currently carrying leadership responsibility within their work or church life.

Those sensing God’s call to any form of leadership in any area of life

Anyone else who would like to come

We welcome Christians from all church streams and denominations

SPEAKERS

We are delighted to share our incredible line up for SVG 2026!

Steve and Cindy Nicholson

Steve and Cindy Nicholson are the founding pastors of Evanston Vineyard in Chicago.  The church was planted in 1976 and joined Vineyard in 1985.  It is a diverse community with people from over 50 different nations. Their leadership has helped spark the planting of numerous churches, with Evanston Vineyard sending out teams to establish new communities across the region and beyond.

Steve has also served on the National Board of Vineyard USA, helping to lead and support church planting initiatives. Together, Steve and Cindy carry a deep passion for the work of the Holy Spirit and have spent decades investing in people, leadership and the life of the Church. They are parents to three adult children and grandparents to eight.

Andrew and Dana Masters

Dana and Andrew Masters are based in Lisburn, Northern Ireland, where they lead Lagan Valley Vineyard alongside their close friends Mark and Yvette Wilkinson. Together, they are passionate about building a church community marked by authenticity, encounter and wholehearted faith.

Originally from the United States, Dana is a soul and jazz singer-songwriter whose music and storytelling invite people into a more honest, courageous and deeply human way of living. Her life is a beautifully chaotic mix of jazz clubs and airports, school runs and bedtime routines with Andrew and their three children.

Andrew is passionate about the church, leadership, and seeing the Celtic lands step more fully into the dreams and vision God has for them. In his spare time, you’ll usually find him outdoors.

John and Debby Wright

John and Debby Wright are the National Directors of Vineyard Churches UK & Ireland and the founding pastors of Trent Vineyard in Nottingham, a church they planted in 1996 and led for over 25 years. With a deep commitment to raising leaders and cultivating healthy churches, they have played a significant role in shaping the Vineyard movement across the UK and Ireland.

They have recently been appointed as the incoming leaders of Vineyard Global, a role they will step into in September, continuing their influence and investment in the global church.

Thomas Urquhart

Thomas, along with his wife Mhairi are the lead pastors of Inverness Vineyard and the Regional leaders for the Vineyard in Scotland. They are deeply passionate about seeing God's kingdom spread across the nation and everyone knowing they have a part to play in that. Thomas loves a 5k, occasional marathon and a good coffee.

THE PROGRAMME

We’ll have main meetings in the mornings and evenings – great times of worship, teaching and ministry. In the afternoons there’ll be seminars as well as plenty of time to connect with old friends and to make new ones. The timings are still being worked on and will be shared on here in the coming months. What we do know is we will kick things off 8pm on Thursday 1st October!

Further details of the programme will be released 2 weeks before the event

CHILDREN

There will be no school-aged kids programmes because the conference takes place during school term-time. We’re hoping that many of us will be able to arrange for family or friends to look after our children at home, so we can focus on receiving from the Lord.

There is a large room with a media link available for parents of babies and toddlers up to 5 years old.
