About
Join us for a delicious breakfast on a farmer's hill at the top of the Leven Catchment. Gathered around a long communal table, we will share a meal sourced from ingredients and produce grown across the catchment, with one of its uppermost rivers running past us.
Over a good cup of coffee or tea, we will enjoy bread, pastries, jam, honey and eggs, among other delicious additions to the breakfast. Come along to see an upland part of the catchment, discover a beautiful waterfall, and take in the view over Loch Leven. This is a relaxed gathering, so please feel free to arrive a little later or leave a little earlier if that suits you better.
The event is free.
This event is part of the broader Catchment Festival, with events happening throughout the day. Beforehand, we have another separate event: a Solargraphy reveal at Pinkfoot Cafe by the Nature Reserve, with a free coffee from the cafe. We will open pinhole cameras that have been recording the movement of light. To learn more, head over here: tickettailor.com/events/catchmentcollective
About the Catchment Festival
From dawn til dusk on the 17th October, you can join us for the Catchment Festival - a day of walks, food, art, ecology, stories and conversations celebrating the landscape shaped by water and the people who call it home. Beginning as the landscape wakes and ending around a shared table, the Catchment Festival invites you to slow down, listen, explore, create, eat and imagine the future of the catchment together.
