The 2025 European CCI will be on the island of Ireland at the beautiful Corrymeela Community Centre. The CCI theme is 'Reconciliation' and we invite you to join us in this unique venue on the stunning coast of Northern Ireland. The Corrymeela Community Centre was founded in 1965 to provide a space where all sides of the conflict in Northern Ireland could meet and work towards reconciliation. That is still the reason that the centre exists and the community played an active role in the Peace Process. This fundamental philosophy is expressed in the buildings, in the meditation room, in the design of the gardens and in its scenic location looking out to Scotland over the sea.

This area of Northern Ireland, part of the ancient kingdom of Dál Riada, has many interesting and beautiful places to visit including the Giant’s Causeway, Rathlin Island, Ballycastle town and the beautiful Murloch Bay where scenes from Game of Thrones were filmed. On your way home, you could take a tour of the famous Bushmills Distillery.

About the workshop

All CCI co-counsellors are invited to 6 days of co-counselling, workshops, dance, music, fun, games and much more, including art in a dedicated and well-equipped studio. There is accommodation for up to 85 people in a variety of rooms - single, twin and triple. The venue is fully accessible with a small number of wheelchair-appropriate bedrooms. Vegetarian, vegan and special diets can be catered. Please note that the venue does not allow alcohol or non-medical drugs. Come and recharge yourself, be part of community, meet other co-counsellors and grow together.

The CCI is created by all participants - anyone can offer a workshop and the daily programme will be decided each morning in the opening circle. Everyone will have the opportunity to join a support group - a small group that will meet at the same time each day to provide a 'home' in the busyness of a large event. All CCI co-counsellors are welcome whether it’s your first or your fortieth CCI residential.

Pricing

As the venue is in Northern Ireland, all prices are in £ sterling. A limited number of discounts is available based on much you can afford to pay. Deposit for all types of room is £200 and the balance must be paid by 1st June 2025

Unfortunately there are no facilities for camping as the venue insurance cannot cover camping on the site. If the type of room that you would like is no longer available then please join the waiting list https://forms.gle/1zQh9L5YWrgAjoss8. You can do this, even if you have booked a different type of room in order to be sure of getting a place.

Bookings open 1st August at 12:00 Ireland/UK time, 13:00 European Time. If there is demand, we may be able to arrange a coach from Belfast International Airport to Corrymeela.

If you cancel before 1st April 2025 then we can refund you. If you cancel on or after 1st April then we can only issue a refund if someone else can take your place.
