Paediatric Oncology Trainees Group Weekend 2025

This year the POTG weekend meeting is organised by Birmingham team led by Shaimaa Sahmoud and Eleni Syrimi.

It is open to Paediatric Oncology Trainees at all stages of training as well as any trust doctors (other than consultants/associate specialists).
It is a 2-day educational programme which has something for all levels (see below) . Dinner on Saturday is a great opportunity to catch up with old friends and make some new ones.

There is also an opportunity for abstract submission where trainees can present their research work. The submitted abstracts will be screened, and the top 3 presentations will be selected for oral presentations. Please send abstracts to e.syrimi@nhs.net by Wednesday 29 October 2025, 17:00. Abstracts should be structured into introduction, methods, results, and conclusion - maximum 250 words.

Saturday evening dinner and accommodation will also be at the Clayton Hotel.
