Comedy Corner Underground favorites Ben Katzner (Troll Hole Podcast, Sirus XM, Netflix) and Chris Maddock (10,000 Laughs Comedy Festival, Stand Up! Records) are bringing you laughs to help ring in the new year!
Join them for a night of comedy, music and MURDER ... sorry, got carried away there. No murder.
Come say goodbye to 2025 in the most fitting way possible: by laughing at it and drinking away your sorrows in a basement with strangers.

About Ben:
A stand-up comedian and writer, Ben Katzner blends a subversive style, biting observational humor and skilled storytelling to deliver a one-of-a-kind live show that's equal parts playful, dark and relatable.
Katzner regularly opens for comedian Kelsey Cook and has opened for a variety of performers including Chad Daniels Josh Johnson, Zainab Johnson and Kyle Kinane.
In 2025, Ben released his debut comedy album, Supple Harlot, along with a coinciding comedy special on Youtube.
Besides performing in clubs and theaters across the country, Katzner has also participated in numerous comedy festivals including the Limestone Comedy Festival, 10,000 Laughs Comedy Festival, Let's Fest, the Harlem Comedy Festival and the Raleigh Comedy Festival.
Katzner is also a burgeoning talent in the graphic novel space. His debut graphic novel, "Hello, My Name is Poop" was published by Wonderbound books in 2021. His second graphic novel, Muddy Waters Too (co-written with legendary rapper Redman), released in the summer of 2025.
When he's not on a stage or behind a keyboard, Ben co-hosts the Troll Hole Podcast with comedian Mike Lester. Equal parts playful and painful, during the fast-paced show the quick-witted duo of Lester and Katzner invite guests to discuss internet trolls, life in the public eye and much more.

About Chris:
From the land of sunkissed beer guts, Stillwater, MN, Chris Maddock is a gorgeous and classically styled stand up comedian, made of solid grapes-47% Comic, 19% Hair Slick, with the rest amounting to pure Country Music Legend.
For the first 15 years of his career, Chris "Mad Dog" Maddock hosted the storied Death Comedy Jam, a weekly hub of MPLS comedy and subject of a documentary film, “Death’s Last Stand”.
He recorded his first comedy album, “Point of Entry” in one take, at the legendary Minneapolis rock ganglion First Avenue in the 7th St. Entry, and released it in 2012 on the Grammy Award winning Stand Up! Records.
In 2014 Minneapolis weekly organ City Pages named him Stand Up Comic of the Year, and after performing in the 43rd San Francisco Comedy Competition, his 2nd album and special was released in 2020 under the appellation “Country Music Legend”. He lives in Minneapolis with his son, Waylon, and his better half, who is also named Kryss, but she spells it wrong.
