Ilkley lantern making

This is a community lantern making workshop for Ilkley Town Council.

Ilkley Town Council is excited to announce the return of the popular lantern parade as part of it's annual Christmas Lights Switch-On event, which takes place on Saturday 21st November.

Designed to bring the community together and give young people a chance to shine, we're thrilled that Cecil Green Arts is hosting a workshop where children and adults can create their own lanterns.

Numbers are limited so booking for the workshop is essential.

The workshop is suitable for children aged 8 plus.

Please note that adult supervision of children needs to happen throughout the workshop time and glue will be used so dress appropriately.

Please leave at least 2 - 3 hours to make your bespoke willow and paper lantern.

Artist support will be given and all materials will be provided.

The workshop takes place in the lower hall of Christchurch on the Grove from 11am to 3pm.
