Description
Francesco Crosara is a jazz pianist, composer, and educator known for his innovative genre-defying blend of jazz improvisation, classical training, world and Latin influences. Crosara's music is deeply inspired by jazz piano legends such as Chick Corea, Bill Evans, Keith Jarrett, and Herbie Hancock. Over his forty-year career, Crosara has performed with renowned artists including Lionel Hampton, Freddie Hubbard, Roy Hargrove, Von Freeman, Bobby Shew and Richie Cole. His seven record releases have featured a multicultural and international array of musicians and have been well received by the media. He has performed at festivals and venues across the USA, Japan, Canada, Mexico, France, Spain, and Italy.
John Stowell is a unique jazz guitarist influenced as much by pianists and horn players as he is by guitarists. His original take on harmony, chords and improvisation sets him apart. He has taught internationally for over 40 years in every educational setting. What Cellar Cat's know is ALL the best performers want to perform with John Stowell. Subtle, thoughtful, insanely skilled, modest. He quietly blows the audience away. We love it.
Osama Afifi has been a professional bassist since 1983. He has recorded and performed live with many artists such as U.S. and Canadian tours with Yanni during the "Reflections of Passion", "Revolution in Sound", and "Dare to Dream" concert tours; a European and Canadian tour with French artist Vanessa Paradis; and a TV show on VH1 called Storytellers with The Doors. He worked with jazz vocalists Kurt Elling and Nnenna Freelon, The 5th Dimension, The Cadillacs, jazz saxophonist Gary Herbig, singer Debby Boone, keyboardist Kei Akagi, Doors drummer John Densmore, Brazilian style guitar duo Hugo Jojo, and jazz trumpeter Tony Guerrero.
This Trio is not to be missed. Come hither. Be Here Meow.
