Cellar Cat is excited to share  the musical magic of The Carrie Wicks Trio on VALENTINE'S DAY.

Carrie Wicks - vocals       Nick Allison - piano       Jon Green - bass

Because Cellar Cat is already the most romantic date-night place on the West Sound, this Valentine's evening concert will quickly sell out.  Join us!  Enjoy intimate, swinging, sexy, romantic, and introspective jazz and originals from these three top-tier Seattle musicians.

Carrie Wicks, three-time Earshot Jazz “Vocalist of the Year” nominee, exhibits a rare combination of relaxed listenability and deep musicality. Her three CDs on Origin Records have received national acclaim and airplay. Pianist Nick Allison, a part of the Northwest music scene for forty years, is renowned for his sensitive accompaniment, versatility, and understated passion.  Jonathan Green, double bass, joined the Seattle Symphony as Assistant Principal Bass in 1998. He was the double bassist for the world premiere and recording of several MOR commissions: Thomas Pasatieri’s Letter to Warsaw, Paul Schoenfield’s Camp Songs and Ghetto Songs, and Gerard Schwarz’s Rudolf and Jeanette. He can also be heard on MOR’s recording of Jake Heggie and Gene Scheer’s Out of Darkness (Naxos 2014).
