🎡 Family Fun Day at Gulliver's World! 🎢🌎

CLDCS would love to invite you all to our big family fun day on Sunday 5th July. We will be meeting at the main entrance between 10:00am and 10:15am, ready for the park opening at 10:30am.

🎪 What’s Included:

On the day, we will have exclusive access to our own marquee! We will meet here for an inclusive lunch:

• Adults: Chicken burger, chips, and a soft drink.

• Children: Chicken nuggets, chips, and a drink.

⚠️ Please contact the team directly with any dietary requirements and ensure you select the correct ticket options below.

Our marquee will also serve as a dedicated space for sensory downtime throughout the day, complete with colouring, a play mat, and a selection of sensory toys. 🧸🎨

🎟️ Tickets & Deposits:

As with all our events, Lancashire-based Deaf children are welcome to attend with their siblings and up to two parents/carers completely free of charge, ensuring no Deaf child misses out due to financial barriers at home.

Due to the high costs of this event, we do ask for a £20 deposit per family. On the day, this deposit can either be fully refunded to you or donated to our society at your discretion. Please note, deposits are strictly non-refundable for families who do not attend. Once you have selected your tickets below, you will recieve our bank transfer details. Ticket confirmation will be sent upon receipt of payment. (If anyone is experiencing financial difficulties that would prevent their child attending please reach out to the team so we can discuss this).

🛡️ Safety & Supervision:

As everyone has active membership forms on file, all attendees remain responsible for the welfare and supervision of their own families, and park rules must be adhered to at all times. CLDCS cannot accept responsibility for any missing belongings, children, or adults! 😉

🧳 Tips for the Day:

📸 Safety Tip: We ask that everyone please take a quick photo of their children at the entrance on the morning of the event. This gives you an exact, up-to-date photo of what they are wearing to assist in the unlikely event of anyone wandering off.

🍏 What to Bring:

• Refillable Water Bottles: Soft drinks and extra snacks/picnics are permitted on-site (even though lunch is provided).

• Weather Prep: Sunscreen, hats, and raincoats/ponchos—best to be prepared for the Great British weather and the water rides!

• Small Backpack: Essential for carrying wipes, snacks, and spare clothes around the park.

👟 What to Wear:

• Comfortable Walking Shoes: Avoid sliders or flip-flops, especially if you plan on tackling the bigger rides.

• Layers: Wear easily removable layers to adapt to the changing temperature throughout the day.

• Secure Pockets / Cross-Body Bag: Keep keys, cards, and phones safe while on moving rides.

• Spare Socks & Clothes: Pack a quick change of clothes for the kids in case they get thoroughly soaked on the log flume!
