Whilst summer Arctic sea ice extent has reduced by over 40% in the last half century, the average thickness has also halved. Andrea Ceccolini, CEO of Real Ice, and CCR's Jacob Pantling are researching whether we could slow or even reverse the current melting by thickening Arctic sea ice. Is this idea viable and could it help us tackle climate change?
