Join us for the next seminar of Ukraine: Energy in the Spotlight Revisited.
This session will be dedicated to the story of the Kakhovka dam, its destruction by the Russian military in the summer of 2023, long-term consequences of the tragedy from both ecological, ethical and energy infrastructure perspectives.
Our invited speakers will be Dr Anna Kuzemko, Leading Researcher at the Department of Geobotany and Ecology (M.G.Kholodny Institute of Botany), as well as well as environmental historian Anna Olenenko (University of Alberta). We will be also joined by a photographer Rodion Prokhorenko who will share his photographic works made in Kherson and Zaporizzhia region following the dam's destruction.
