Energy Ethics Revisited: Leyla Sayfutdinova

Born from the ERC-funded Energy Ethics project, the concept of energy ethics has travelled far beyond its initial field sites and questions. Energy Ethics Revisited brings together former doctoral researchers and postdoctoral fellows to explore where those journeys have led. Hosted by CEE Director Prof Mette High, Principal Investigator of the original project, the series takes the form of informal conversations exploring how ideas developed through the project and its legacy have taken shape in new research contexts.

The series takes place online on five Tuesdays from 12.00-1.00pm (UK time) starting late September until December. Free and open to all, the conversations offer a chance to reflect on the longer lives of ideas and the often unpredictable paths of academic research. At a time when many early-career researchers face considerable uncertainty, the series provides an opportunity to hear how scholars have carried questions, methods, and commitments from one project into new research contexts.
