Successful Scrutiny Reviews
Conducting successful scrutiny reviews
A practical online learning event to outline the success factors that contribute to effective scrutiny reviews.
There is no one way of undertaking a scrutiny review (often called a task and finish group). But this session will consider how a member led and well-scoped review with the right witnesses and evidence enables members to conduct a deep dive into an issue and make robust recommendations for service improvement.
The learning event is aimed at members and officers - either those new to scrutiny wanting to understand what a scrutiny review is; or more experienced colleagues looking for a refresh.
Attendees will come away with a clearer understanding of how to plan and undertake a deep dive into an issue.
