Meet The Media Birmingham 2025

Join us for Meet The Media Birmingham 2025, a unique opportunity for Muslim organisations to meet editors and journalists, get your voices heard, share perspectives and hold the media to account on how they report on Muslims and Islam. Representatives from the BBC, Sky, Channel 4, LBC, The Guardian and Birmingham Live will be there to answer your questions.

What to Expect:

• Discuss the portrayal of Muslims in mainstream media.

• Encourage transparency, accountability, and improved representation.

• Provide a platform for community voices to be heard directly by journalists and editors.

• Encourage networking and relationship building between the media and Muslim communities to change the narrative.

• Hold story pitching sessions with on-the-spot feedback.

• Inspire young people to pursue a career in journalism.
