Ready for 2028: practical steps for the new curriculum

Designed around the themes teachers told us matter most, this is your chance to engage with the consultation taking place surrounding the new Curriculum and Assessment Review, and feed in your perspectives to influence how financial education, enterprise and work readiness are reflected in future curriculum thinking.

Overview

This year's Young Enterprise Teacher Conferences will offer a balance of evidence-informed input, hands-on activity, peer-led examples, networking and access to resources. 

Sessions will include age-appropriate approaches to financial and enterprise education in primary, joined-up planning across financial education, careers, enterprise and Gatsby Benchmarks in secondary, and inclusive approaches to money, independence and preparation for adulthood for learners with SEND.

Through practical workshops, school showcases, and keynote insights, the conference will offer delegates:

• Practical tools combined with classroom ideas
• Curriculum links
• Resource recommendations
• Examples from schools who are already putting enterprise and financial education into practice

The event will also create space to connect with peers, share implementation journeys, celebrate good practice and strengthen a professional community committed to helping every young person develop the skills, confidence and mindset to thrive.
