dead bird & fallen angels // Katharine Meynell

Working as an artist since the late 1970’s across material media, using moving image, performance, drawings and artists’ books (many collaborations with the Gefn Press), Meynell's interests concern the personal & the political, humour and the slippery line between document and fiction.

This work is durational, open to the public between 2 and 7pm. Meynell and Bardsley's works are ticketed in the same ticket, and you can move between their spaces at your leisure.

Tiziano Cruz.

Tiziano Cruz is an interdisciplinary artist whose work fundamentally brings together visual and theatrical language, performance and artistic intervention in public space.

This performance lecture begins at 7.30pm and lasts approximately 60 minutes. The performance is given in Spanish with English captions.

ASCLEPEION // Ron Athey with Hermes Pittakos, Carmina Escobar, Federica Dauri and Myrgon

ASCLEPEION is a ritual performance installation by Ron Athey, rooted in his lifelong testing of the body as a site of healing, sacrifice, ecstasy, and transformation. The work brings ancient practices of purification, prophecy, dream incubation, and votive offering into collision with Athey's inheritance of ecstatic healing, the HIV/AIDS and COVID-19 pandemics, somatic therapy, and strange science.

Developed through field research with longtime collaborator Hermes Pittakos at the Asclepeion of Epidaurus, the Eleusinian Mysteries, and the Oracle at Delphi, ASCLEPEION reimagines the ancient healing temple as a living, contemporary ritual environment.

Doors 9pm, ends 11pm. An earlier performance takes place Saturday 28 November from 6pm.
