What kinds of policies would have real material impact in our communities? How can we push for them? A conversation about Community Wealth Building, featuring guest-speakers from London Renters' Union and Cooperation Town.

This is the first in a series of events looking at the different ways we can redirect the flow of resources back into our neighbourhoods, so that it benefits our livelihoods, wellbeing and the spaces we live in.

As a stepping stone into the topic, we'll be focusing on understanding local councils' role in building community wealth and how we can push for the policy-changes we need. In the session, we'll hear from guest speakers', learn from each other and make zines together! There will also be a chance to see a short tour of the community farm.

Guest speakers

We're excited to be joined by members of Cooperation Town and London Renters' Union about their experience in organising from the grassroots, as well as what we can be doing now - in our neighbourhoods - without waiting for the council
