ChamberMusicBox Christmas Concert @ St Cuthbert's Earl's Court

Get into the Christmas spirit with a glass of mulled wine, a few carols, and a program of festive baroque favourites by Handel, Bach and Vivaldi. This special concert will feature an extraordinary lineup of some of Europe's finest string players from ChamberMusicBox, who will be joined by the talented choir of the Primary School of St Cuthbert's with St Mathias.

Described as “superb” and “an open, imaginative and technically impeccable group that it would be folly not to follow”, ChamberMusicBox has been dazzling audiences since 2016 with their technical mastery and imaginative programming.

Now resident at the stunning Victorian church of St Cuthbert’s Earl’s Court, this collective of outstanding internationally-renowned musicians is looking forward to presenting another edition of their hugely popular Christmas Concert in which award-winning soloists Yuri Kalnits, Alicja Smietana, Roman Mints, Tanya Sweiry, Philip Haworth, Kathryn Thomas and Joanna Shaw will take star turns in festive concertos.

This year's concert will be made even more special by the appearance of the choir of the primary school of St Cuthbert's with St Mathias, where ChamberMusicBox musicians are currently delivering a year-long music education programme. Under the guidance of their music director, Domenico Gioffrè, the children will be performing seasonal favourites such as Silent Night and We Three Kings accompanied by the CMB ensemble.
