Subtle Connections Across the World - Atrium String Quartet - 25th Anniversary Concert

A CMSFW favorite, this group is one of the most inspiring, dynamic, and charismatic ensembles on the musical scene. The Russian-born quartet, which currently resides in Berlin, Germany, celebrates their 25th anniversary this year. To commemorate this milestone, they will perform the program from their inaugural concert in 2000.

Program includes:

• Wolfgang Amadé Mozart - String Quartet in D Minor, K. 421
• Dmitri Shostakovich - String Quartet No. 7 in F-sharp Minor, Op. 108
• Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky - String Quartet No. 2 in F Major, Op. 22

The Pre-Concert Conversation starts at 1:15 p.m. as Gary Levinson, CMSFW artistic director, adds insights about the composers and music. The concert begins at 2 p.m.
