Homage to Great Artists — Dover Quartet

Ranked by BBC Music Magazine as one of the best string quartets in the last 100 years, Dover Quartet has two Grammy nominations and numerous competition awards. The group started in 2008 at the Curtis Institute of Music and has dominated the chamber music scene ever since.

Program includes:

• Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart — String Quartet No. 17 in B-flat Major, K. 458 (“The Hunt”)
• Johannes Brahms — String Quartet No. 3 in B-flat Major, Op. 67
• Antonin Dvořák — String Quartet No. 11 in C Major, Op. 61, B121

The multimedia Pre-Concert Conversation starts at 1:15 p.m. as Gary Levinson, CMSFW artistic director, adds insights about the composers and music.

The concert begins at 2:00 p.m.
