🏔️ Cloudline: Where Women Rise | The Official Documentary
17 Women. One Mountain. No Limits.
In this breathtaking documentary, follow the journey of 17 extraordinary women as they take on the ultimate challenge: summiting Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in the world.
But this isn't just a story about a climb. It's a story of reclamation.
The Mission
Most of the team are living with ostomies or are survivors of birth trauma. These are women who have been told—or felt—that their bodies were broken. By trekking through five different ecosystems to reach the Roof of Africa, they prove that life after surgery or injury isn't just possible; it can be peak-shattering.
Why They Hike
Every step taken and every pound raised supports Chameleon Buddies, a grassroots charity dedicated to:
UK Support: Helping women navigate the psychological and physical shift of life with an ostomy or childbirth injury.
Kenya Outreach: Providing life-changing medical supplies, stoma bags, and peer support to women in Kenyan communities who often face severe stigma and lack of resources.
What You'll See
The Raw Reality: The physical toll of managing a stoma at high altitudes and the emotional weight of sharing trauma.
Unstoppable Sisterhood: The power of a collective of women lifting each other up when the oxygen gets thin.
Global Impact: How this trek translates into real-world aid for women in the UK and Kenya.
"We aren't just climbing for ourselves; we are climbing for every woman who has ever felt silenced by her own body."
