The show will be Soundpainted - a unique live-composing sign language that allows a composer/conductor to create spontaneous compositions with improvisers in real time. Weaving together colorful tales of the Green Mountain Mermaid and the fabled "Pig Man" with the personal narratives of hardworking farmers, restless youth, wealthy transplants, and undervalued migrant workers, Tune on a Distant Hill paints a vivid and poignant portrait of Vermont life.
