The Equinox: Chapter 2

Chapter One Events cordially invites you to The Equinox: Chapter 2! This magical ball is designed with our fantasy book lovers in mind. Get lost in the dark forest with us and dance the night away and make memories to last a lifetime! (This is an 18+ event)

Here is what's included in your ticket:

*Fae Passports: Collect all stamps during the Scavenger Hunt and at Interactive Stations to receive a prize!

*Participate in a community wide scavenger hunt in picturesque downtown Danville before the ball to collect trinkets for trinket trading, and to use as commerce at the interactive stations. With every purchase made at a participating small business, receive a prize drawing ticket to use at the ball.  Additional trinkets can be purchased at the ball for $5. 

*A Variety of Interactive and Crafty Fantasy Themed Stations (See our socials for more details!) -Trinkets Required to Participate- 

Stations include: Pixie Dust Parlour (Glitter Bar), The Gilded Tress Alchemy (Hair Tea Creations), Faerie Forge (Botanical/Gemstone Ornaments), Dice of Destiny (D20 Prize or Punishment), Threads of Mischief (Tapestry Weaving), The Candle of Curious Things (Candle Painting), Whisper in the Wood (Confessional Tree), Potions Bar (Teamonades), Oat & Ink (Temporary Tattoos), Drawing of Fates (Prize Station)

FAQs

Q: What is the dress code?

A:The dress code is black tie/formal, but with a twist! This fantasy ball has a dark enchanted autumn woodland theme so you are encouraged to incorporate seasonal fantasy elements such as rich fall colors, wings, antlers, pointed ears, cloaks and crowns, or any other whimsical forest inspired details to help immerse yourself in the magic of the evening. 

Q: Can I bring weapons for cosplay purposes?

A: You may bring prop weapons that are blunted and must be sheathed at all times. Weapons will be checked upon check in and a red ribbon will be tied around it. Weapons may also be checked at coat check if desired. No real weapons of any kind will be allowed into the event.

Q: What is your Code of Conduct for this event?

A: We want everyone to have fun and feel safe at this event. Any inappropriate behavior (ie: harassment, non-consensual touching, etc.) towards any guest, including our special guests and performers, will not be tolerated and will result in an immediate ejection from the event. 

Q: What is the age limit for this event?

A: This is an 18+ event. ID's will be checked upon arrival. Those 21+ who are wanting to utilize the cash bar will be given a wristband at check-in.

Q: Is there free parking?

A: Yes! The Danville Golf Club has parking available.

Q: What is your refund policy?

A: All sales for The Equinox: Chapter Two are final, aside from event cancellation.
