Music to Warm the Soul, includes favourites from the clarinet, viola and piano repertoire. Mozart's beautifully crafted Kegelstatt Trio and Max Bruch's poignant Nightpieces and the rarely performed Dutch composer Leo Smit's Trio written in 1938 and one of the highlights of his Chamber compositions. Smit was of Jewish descent and and persecuted by the Nazis, he was murdered in 1943 thus silencing a talented composer whose output though small consists of beautiful musical treasures.
