Chess for Intermediate session 3 out of 3 (Ages 8 - 16)

This is session 3 for a 3 part Intermediate course in chess. Please sign-up for all 3 sessions separately.

Chess Programme for Intermediates run by the Charlton Kings Junior Chess Club. These sessions are aimed at those looking to improve their skills. 

This session is suitable for Chess Intermediate, assuming basic knowledge of moves and board set up.

Session 1 (27th July) 12.45pm - 2pm: - Opening moves and principles, tactics

Session 2 (30 July) 12.45pm - 2pm: - Endgame, checks and checkmates, advancing pawns and promotions

Session 3 (4th August) 12.30pm - 2pm: - Introduction to online chess, competition. 

This session is organised and funded by Charlton Kings Parish Council, for Families and Children within the Charlton Kings Parish.

Parents/guardians are required to Drop off and Pick up children. Please ensure the Parent/Guardian listed on the booking form is the one responsible for Drop off and Pick up.

All ticket information will be shared with the session/workshop providers and information will be stored by Charlton Kings Parish Council in line with our GDPR/Dara Storage Policy.
