New Markets Tax Credit Workshop

The NMTC Program attracts private capital into low-income communities by permitting individual and corporate investors to receive a tax credit against their federal income tax in exchange for making equity investments in specialized financial intermediaries called Community Development Entities (CDEs).
Hear from a panel of experts on how both for-profit companies and non-profit organizations can leverage this flexible financing to achieve project completion and create lasting impacts in their communities. Panelists will discuss the qualifications and best practices for attaining NMTC financing and how the program incentivizes community development and economic growth. Attendees will also hear a case study from a business who has benefited from the program.
Panelists include:
- Chris Leutzinger, Truist Community Capital
- Monica Blanton, Bright Bridge Inc.
- Grady Vanderhoofven, Three Roots Capital
