We’re all on the same sinking ship, so lets talk about it!
Like that stuff that happens in Vegas, except at sea.
Think BELOW Below Deck…
Join former cruise ship entertainer Sammy Catling on a podcast like no other. Delving into the best and worst experiences of crew from all walks of life, Deck Tales is the best place to listen to true accounts from people during their time spent at sea! Sam went on to write the comedic memoir Seems Like Smooth Sailing, which was published on the first day of lockdown at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic.
This was a bit of a slap in the face for him at first, as it was the first time since pre-World War II that you couldn't book a cruise even if you wanted to. This gave Sam plenty to think about, making him wonder how cruise lines would handle the situation and look after their guests and crew. After much back-and-forth while drafting his second book You Cruise You Lose, (yet to be published ) Sam decided to put his writing on hold and start a podcast to gain clarity on what he’d read and researched. So with that, Deck Tales was born!
