Mike Garry and The Cassia String Quartet

After his stellar performance with John Cooper Clarke at Dublin's Olympia Theatre last May, Mike Garry is returning to Ireland to perform at the Crane Lane Theatre in Cork and this time with a classical string quartet.
Mike and the Cassia String Quartet have played together for 10 years.In that time they've had a UK Number one single with St. Anthony - An Ode to Factory Records owner Tony Wilson and released their first studio album in 2024.They have toured sparingly, playing only at very special events and working on commissioned pieces.They have worked with the likes of New Order, Philip Glass, The Charlatans, Daughter and Orbital to name just a few.The combination of Spoken Word and Classical Music has created a totally new sound.

Mike has toured Ireland with John Cooper Clarke for the past 10 years but this is their first tour of Ireland with The Cassia String Quartet and promises to be a huge success.
