Join award-winning historian, broadcaster and bestselling author David Olusoga for a fascinating exploration of how history, identity, migration and representation are shaping the Britain of tomorrow.

Chelmsford Science Festival, in partnership with Chelmsford Cathedral and Anglia Ruskin University's Race and Ethnic Equality Network (REEN), is delighted to welcome David Olusoga for an evening of thought-provoking discussion and reflection.

Drawing on his acclaimed work exploring Britain's interconnected histories and diverse communities, David will examine the ideas, experiences and narratives that influence belonging and inclusion in contemporary British society. The event will consider how a deeper understanding of our past can help us build stronger, more cohesive communities and create a more inclusive future for generations to come.

Hosted at Chelmsford Cathedral, the evening will feature a talk from David followed by an audience Q&A, offering an opportunity to engage with one of Britain's most respected public historians.

Whether you're interested in history, culture, social change or the future of British society, this promises to be an inspiring and insightful evening.
