Join Chelsea Chess for a social evening of chess at The Laslett Hotel, Notting Hill

Wednesday 9th September 2026 (7-10pm)

Whether you're a complete beginner, returning to the game after years away, or a regular chess.com player, this is a friendly, low-pressure space to play. Our host will greet you on arrival, get a quick sense of your level, and match you with someone at a similar standard, so you're never stuck waiting or facing someone way out of your league. Come alone or bring a friend, solo attendees are very welcome, and part of the evening is exactly for meeting other players.

If you want a hand with anything during the night, tips and tricks to level up your game, Chelsea Chess coaches are on hand throughout to help.
