Since 1905, over 100 million supporters around the world have stood behind this club through every triumph, every setback, and everything in between. Their story has never been properly told. Until now.

The Bridge turns the lens away from the pitch and towards the people. From London pubs and the stands of Stamford Bridge to viewing centres in Nigeria, the film captures the deep-rooted passion, rituals, and sacrifices that bind a global, intergenerational community under one badge. Rich and poor, old and young — Chelsea isn't just a football club. It's a way of life.

Told through intimate personal stories and rich cultural context, this is a film about loyalty, identity, and belonging. It's about what it truly means to be a Chelsea fan.

About the Film

The Bridge was conceived by Scott Allison — a Californian who fell in love with Chelsea after being brought to Stamford Bridge by London colleagues — and producer Lauren Mammini. Directed by Jimmy Hedger, with cinematography by Martin Roach and editing by Michael Wolf, the film was shot between July 2024 and March 2025 and completed in late 2025.

The world premiere takes place at the Dallas International Film Festival in April 2026, followed by the British premiere at the British Urban Film Festival in May 2026.

This screening is open to all, and we particularly encourage CPO shareholders to join us for what promises to be a special evening celebrating the fans at the heart of this club.
