Chemical Business Association Responsible Care Day: Hosted by Hibiscus PLC

Not only does November the 28th see the 2024 Chemical Supply Chain "Chemmie" Awards, it also brings the first Chemical Business Association Responsible Care Day, proudly hosted by Hibiscus PLC. This event brings together industry leaders, experts, and professionals to discuss and celebrate the ongoing successes of the Responsible Care Programme in the chemical industry, as well as explore exciting new prospects for the Programme.

The free event will feature presentations and a panel session from speakers representing the Chemical Business Association, Hibiscus PLC, and Epson. We will be drawing on topics within the broad scope of Responsible Care, including chemical handling regulation, sustainability legislation, product stewardship, as well as emphasising the essential role of skilled professionals in driving industry standards forward.

A highlight of the day will be Epson's presentation on their sustainability journey within the printing industry, offering a unique perspective on environmental responsibility and innovation.

Set within Hibiscus PLC's manufacturing warehouse, attendees will have the exclusive opportunity to participate in a site tour and witness live demonstrations of chemical label manufacturing, with a buffet lunch also provided! The site is also only a 1-mile journey from the Royal Armouries Museum, where the 2024 Chemmie Awards will be held later that day, and provides ample parking for visitors.
