Cherylyn Lavagnino Dance's 25th Anniversary Season

Join us this summer for our performances on July 8th and 9th as we commemorate Cherylyn Lavagnino Dance's 25th anniversary as a contemporary ballet company in New York City. This season honors the incredible collaborators who have shaped our repertoire over the years.

This program will feature the world premiere of La Mar Emocional, with a poignant new score from composer Scott Killian, along with beloved works RU and Triptych. Veiled and excerpts from The Winter's Tale will be elevated by Martin Bresnick’s exceptional scores, performed by live musicians. We continue to bring exceptional artistry to our audiences, blending dance and music in powerful ways. This milestone celebrates the remarkable journey of CLD, bringing together artists from our founding shows in 2000, current dancers, and former members who have danced with us over the past 25 years. Together, we will explore new artistic horizons, challenge conventions, and create theater-dance that resonates with both the intellect and the soul.
