Delegates who will benefit from this course - Managers, Import or Export Staff involved in the administration of Customs Issues.

In the light of global changes to Customs Import and Export regimes, this means that all traders involved in the import and/or export process must ensure total compliance with Customs regulations and regimes and must have competent staff on their payroll. They must also be able to show evidence of documented Customs Import/Export procedures, as well as clear audit trails concerning international trade and supply chain activities, right down to import and export documentation including Customs declarations. In the light of the withdrawal of the UK from the EU, this requirement has become much more prevalent, with HMRC making increasing compliance checks on importers and exporters alike.

This programme includes information that is in line with Global changes in Custom practices and an increase in areas such as electronic procedures, compliance and Custom risk. All importers and exporters must be aware of Customs practices and requirements and must ensure that their staff are fully trained and knowledgeable in these areas.
