International Women's Day 2025

Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service and the Service’s women’s network, Limitless, will be celebrating International Women’s Day on Friday 7 March 2025 from 9.30am – 1.30pm.

The event will take place in the Lecture Theatre, Headquarters

This year’s theme for International Women’s Day is to Accelerate Action.

This will be an informal opportunity for women from across the Service to meet up, learn about each other’s career journeys and talk about how the fire and rescue service can become an even more equitable place to work.

09:30 for 10:00am start

10:00am : Welcome, Chief Fire Officer and introductions

10:15 to 11:00am : Katie Whitehead, Head of Service Improvement

11:00 to 11:15am : Refreshments

11:15 to 12:00pm : Sarah Dornford-May, Former Communications and Campaigns Manager

12:00 – 12:15pm : Refreshments

12:15 - 1:00pm : Becky Wightman, Crew Manager
